The breakfast had a very satisfying selection and the people were friendly and helpful. The hotel's location at the end of a road leading to the river was perfect for hiking and ferried across the river for dining, which was delightful.
The beds were uncomfortable and the parking was an issue as the hotel's lot was occupied. The room was basically clean but needed some maintenance, and the bathroom was too small.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the attention to detail and effort put into maintaining the rooms and common areas was evident. We had a comfortable room with a cloud-like bed and a spacious, clean bathroom with a lovely shower. The little outside terrace was a perfect spot to enjoy the view of the castle ruins. Secondly, the location of the hotel was ideal. Being just a short walk away from the river and within reach of the famous Bastei was a dream. Lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They provided excellent service and gave great advice on local attractions and day trips.
No negatives to mention; everything was just perfect.
